My Grandmother-daughter of Hiram and Almedia Gann Brown Came from Georgia to Alabama as a baby in a covered wagon where she would later meet and marry her future husband who had also came from Georgia as a young child Alfred Burks. They were married on 10/25/14 by Rev. J.C. Moody at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Brown (Bessie's parents). This union produced 7 children, 4 of whom lived to adulthood-the 3 babies who died in infancy are interred a few plots down from their graves, marked only by rocks. Their youngest daughter, Alla Bea, (our dear Mother) is interred in plot next to their's.
Inscription:"Asleep in Jesus"

Many kind thanks to Faith3 for sponsoring my Grandmother'semorial.
