FAZENBAKER, Mrs. Rella A. Garlitz

FROSTBURG - Mrs. Rella A. Fazenbaker, 85, 19 Fairview Street, died Monday at her residence after a short illness. Born in Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late George and Nancy (Durst) Garlitz. Mrs. Fazenbaker's husband, Edward Fazenbaker, preceded her in death. She was a member of the First English Baptist Church. Surviving are five sons, Melvin Fazenbaker, Morgantown; Herbert Fazenbaker, Akron, Ohio; Olin Fazenbaker, Painesville, Ohio, and Clarence Fazenbaker and Alvin Fazenbaker, both at home; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Hockley and Mrs. Alice Cox, both of Akron; Mrs. Helen Platz, Ashtabula, Ohio; Mrs. Pearl Stevens, Frostburg; Mrs. Nellie Getson and Mrs. Martha Hall, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Olin Garlitz and William Garlitz, both of Garrett County; a sister, Mrs. Ora Layman, Garrett County, 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home where the family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p. m. Thursday by Rev. Paul S. Moulden. Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Elias, Charles Wiebrecht, Ronald Winters, Richard Bassford, James Latanza and Charles Stevens.
