John Harold Clark, 69, of the 3300 block of Brest Ave., a retired chief boatswains mate, died April 13, 1990, in a hospital.
Mr. Clark, a native of Macfarlan, W.Va., retired from the Navy after 28 years. He was a member of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Aileen Whitt Clark; a daughter, Brenda Caprani of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Myron Legg of Chicago; two sisters, Mary Haught of Smithfield, W.Va., and Evelyn Deem of Belpre, Ohio; a brother, Virgil Clark of Newark, Ohio; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Herman Mauch and the Rev. Don Harris. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and at a later time at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
