Lucille was born on July 21, 1930, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, the daughter of James Royal and Mabel Makepeace Green. She grew up in Clinton and attended Clinton High School. Lucille was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bill W. Feldhahn I, June 1, 1968, in Rockton, Illinois. Lucille worked at International Harvester Works, East Moline, attending Scott Community College for her role as Traffic Coordinator. Upon retirement, her interests included volunteer work at Genesis Hospitals, both East and West campuses, travels to Colorado and Europe, knitting baby hats for newborns, taking care of her grandchildren, Bible Study and activities with her beloved church "family" in Christ, playing cards/games with Feldhahn brothers/sisters in-law, and time with her little dog, Meggie.
Those left to honor her memory include her loving husband, Bill; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Billy Feldhahn II, Long Grove; daughter, Sheryl Sievertsen, Davenport; grandchildren, Jack, Chad, Megan, Brian, Jamie, Johnny, Betsy and Krista; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny Green. In tracing ancestry Lucille is related to John Alden and Priscilla Mullins of the Mayflower (1620) through Mabel Makepeace Green (her mom), Lucilia Staples Makepeace (grandma) and Viola Alden Staples (great-grandma).
