Jennie Allegra Montague was born 24 November 1904 at Owosso, Shiawassee, Michigan, to Joseph and Maude Leona (Borden) Montague. She moved with her family to Pierce County, Washington about 1903. She married John Bloom 9 March 1921 at Tacoma. The marriage was officiated by W.H.W. Rees, Minister of the Gospel, and was witnessed by Henry Horn and Bertha Whitney (Jennie's sister).
