Wilma Lee Bell passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was born April 25, 1929 in Polk County, MO, the daughter of Albert Parrish and Georgia (Ridenour) Parrish. On May 29, 1948, she married Ronald Duane Bell.

Survivors include her son Thomas Bell and his wife Pamela, of Gonzales, LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, her parents, and daughter Terri Ann Bell, and brother Lester Parrish. Other survivors are her brothers Phillip and Paul Parrish and sister Lorene Shelton, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Bell retired from the Springfield Public Schools in 1991. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, Springfield for over 50 years. She graduated from Morrisville High School in 1947. Mrs. Bell enjoyed bird-watching, reading, walking, and church activities. She was a supportive wife, loving mother, and sweet friend and will be dearly missed.
