Virginia Marie Isaac Royall was born February 10, 1907 in Surry County, North Carolina to Joseph Dayton Isaac and Sarah Jane Perry Isaac. She married Clarence McNeil "Mack C." Royall, and they were the parents of Dayton Clyde Royall (who was killed in action during World War II), Reba Jane Royall Steele, Imogene "Jeanie" Royall Bryan, and James Dwight Royall. She was a member of Roaring Gap Baptist Church. Marie is buried near her husband at Crestwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Surry County. She died October 7, 2000 at age 93 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
