SOMERSET: Nancy Jean (Sales) Bieber, 74, of Somerset, Ohio, dired at 3:44 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 in her home after a long battle with cancer.

Nancy was born November 20, 1937 in Pleasntville, Ohio to the late Russell Sales and Dorthea (Carl "Jack") Waddell Engle.

She attended the United Church of God in Cambridge, Ohio, and attended Thurston and Pleasantville Schools. Nancy was a loving homemaker and enjoyed Bluegrass music and gardening.

Surviving are he husband of 58 years, Harold Edgar Bieber, whom she married on June 5, 1964 in Liberty, Indiana; her children, Larry L. Bieber of Bremen, Ohio, Rodger L. (Liz) Bieber of Rushville, Ohio, Michael E. (Eileen) Bieber of Rushville, Brenda L. Kemper of Fultonham, Ohio, Harold D. Bieber of Lancaster, Ohio, Jeffrey A. (Ellen) Bieber of Thornville, Ohio, Tina M. Wgal of the home, Pamela S. (Pat) Lawson of Roseville, Ohio, Scott E. (Angle) Bieber of Rushville,and Hank W. (Emma) Bieber of Somerset; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald E. (Mary) Sales of Kentucky; sisters, Janet E. (Eugene) Stanley of Lancaster. Ellen M. Harmon of Nashville, Tennessee, and Karla G. (Gary) Eize of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Ann; grandsons, David, Joseph and Calvin Bieber; sisters, Rose D. Solly and Patricia Mae Welch; and a brother, Robert N. Sales.

Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Bope-Thomas Duneral Home in Somerset where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 with Pastor Vernon Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio.

Along with flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center, The Ohio State Medical Center, or Hospice of Central, Ohio.
