Student Dies Of Pneumonia
Miss G.L.J. Gettier Was Attending Goucher College
Miss Gwendolyn Louise Johnson Gettier, student at Goucher College and at the Peabody Institute, died last night at her home, 2818 North Calvert street. She had been ill from pneumonia four weeks.
Miss Gettier attended Goucher College the last three years and had a high scholastic standing. She is survived by her parents, Harry L. Gettier and Mrs. Ida Johnson Gettier.

Funeral services for Miss Gwendolyn Louise Johnson Gettier will be held at 4 p.m. today at her home, 2818 North Calvert street. The Rev. Dr. L. F. Warner, pastor of Saint John’s Methodist Protestant Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery. Miss Gettier, who was 19 years old, died Thursday at her home of typhoid-pneumonia following a four weeks’ illness.
Born in Baltimore, she attended the public schools here, winning a Goucher scholarship from Western High School. A junior at Goucher, she also had studied at the Peabody Institute for many years. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Gettier.
