MOUNT HOLLY ~ Betty Colleen Stafford Miller, 84, of 116 Morris Ave., died March 26, 2012.
She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Harold Avery and Ethel Smith Stafford.
She was wife of the late Zellie Lee Miller.
She was a retired cafeteria manager with Gaston County Schools, a member of the Mecklenburg Wildlife Club and a member of New Life Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Miller and his wife Marie of Belmont, Lonnie Miller and his wife Teresa of Mount Holly; six
grandchildren, Lee, David, Chris, and Aaron Miller, Sophia Dimmer and Rhonda Sparks and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Miller will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at New Life Baptist Church, with the Rev. Allen Foreman officiating.
The burial will be at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friend from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly is in charge of the arrangements.
