DALLAS ~ Hugh Beaty Abernathy, 92, was a son of the late August and Ella Sherrill Abernathy.
He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Stanley, where he had 61 years of perfect attendance.
Interment in Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery.
Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly is in charge of the arrangements.
