Eleanor CAMPBELL [Parents ] was born about 1814 in , TN. She died on 5 Oct 1858 in , , IL. Eleanor married Robert TROTTER on 20 Feb 1837 in , Jefferson Co., IL.

Petition for guardianship of Lovisa Ann and Eliza Jane, filed 21 Jan 1861,
at Hamilton County Courthouse, Mcleansboro, Illinois by Thomas Williamson,
an uncle of the girls by marriage.He married Eleanor's sister Margaret.
Death date from Bible of Isham R. Trotter in possession of Joann Webber,
published in Yesterday's of Hamilton Co.,IL, website of Carol Yarbrough.
No proof, but very probable she was the daughter Dougal Campbell. Two of
Dougal's daughters married in Haml. Co. with his permission, and after their
death some of their children were listed in census records living with
Eleanor or her sister Margaret. One was the 1850 census of Haml Co. where
the son of Joseph and Nancy (Campbell) Yates was living with Eleanor and
Robert Trotter after Joseph died.
