BERRY, RUTHIE MAE KING 81, affectionately known as "Miss Honey," of Louisville, passed away March 23, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. Ruthie was born on March 17, 1931 in Columbus, GA.

She is survived by her 12 children, Dr. Charles J. King Jr., President and CEO of Project One, Inc. and former pastor of Browns Memorial CME Church, Harvey L. King, Lula Green, Jimmy King, Rev. Thomas L. King, Herman King (Carol), Raymond King, Rev. Primus King, Rev. Paul Berry, Mary Wanda Mainor, Charlotte McCall, Edward Robinson, and adopted daughter Hollie Burks.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, 3-7 p.m. at A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St. A celebration of her life will be held at her church, The Brown Memorial CME Church, 809 West Chestnut Street, Louisville, on Thursday morning, March 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. Burial services will be held in Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus, GA.
