Margaret Amerling was a wonderful wife and mother. Born in Glasgow Scotland, immigrated to Philadelphia Pennsylvania at the age of three with her mother, Margaret and sister Mary to join her father James who settled in the U.S. a bit earlier. Once established in the food industry, James sent for his family to join him in the U.S.
Margaret went on to marry Charles Amerling in 1947, gave birth to a son Charles in 1948, and a daughter Catherine in 1960.
