Nettie, a resident of Chimayo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her father Eliseo L. Baca; brother Walter Baca; and aunt Laura Montoya.

Nettie was survived by her mother Susie Baca; son Ryan Baca; sister Brenda Baca; brothers: Gene Baca (companion Brenda) and Alfred Baca; best friends: Steven Medina, Andy Baca and Romanita Salazar; uncles: Rosendo Baca (wife Josie), Ursulo Baca, Celso Baca (wife Beatrice), Ernestino Rivera, Harold Rivera (wife Frances), and Joe Montoya; aunts: Magdalena Lucero, Mary Rivera and Frances Bustos; and many cousins, relatives & friends.

Nettie experienced many facets of life. She was a member of the Army National Guard and traveled to many places in the world. She attended Highlands University College of Santa Fe and Fort Lewis College in Durango. She played college sports and was very active in her youth. She loved nature and her animals. Nettie will be missed by her family and friends.
