Frederick C. Aebischer, 61, Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Memorial hospital, Manitowoc.
He was born July 15, 1894, in the town of Charlestown, the son of William Aebischer and Lucy Weeks Aebischer.
Aebischer, an attorney, attended public school in Charlestown, graduate from Chilton High School in 1912; graduated from St. John’s Military academy, Delafield in 1914; and attended Lawrence College at Appleton. He attended the University of Wisconsin law school and graduated from Marquette University law school in 1924.
He served two terms as district attorney of Calumet County, being elected in 1924. He served in the Medical corps during World War I, serving 18 months overseas. He was a member of the famed 32nd (Red Arrow) Division.
Fred was a member of the Chilton Masonic lodge, was a 32 degree Mason, a member of Eastern Star, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Wisconsin Bar association, and the Manitowoc County Bar association.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Doris Willette; one sister, Mrs. Livyna Albers; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home, Chilton, with Rev. E. R. Webster officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
