May 15, 1962 - July 16, 2018 David Paul Adkins, age 56, of Youngs Chapel Road, Corbin departed this life on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the home of his mother in Williamsburg. He was born on May 15, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Robert Paul Adkins and Nannie Marie (Smith) Adkins. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherri Adkins. David was a member of Mt. Ash Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Creech (Tyler) of East Bernstadt; Kaprina Nicole Adkins of Williamsburg, Agnes Michelle Kellogg of Lily and Crystal Marie Adkins of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Emmett, Mia and Bentley; his mother, Nannie (Smith) Adkins of Williamsburg; three brothers, Michael Timothy Adkins and wife Victoria of Williamsburg, Richard Martin Adkins and Teresa of Taylor, Michigan and Robert Morgan Adkins of Utica, New York; many nieces and nephews; other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Bro. Glen Hubbard officiating. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery at Sunny Hill Church.
