GENEVA — Margaret E. DeJesus, age 92, of Geneva, Ohio, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 17, 1919, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Bert and Olive M. (Chapman) Armstrong and had been a resident of Geneva since 1948.
She was a dietician for Perry Ridge Nursing Home and Autumn Rendezvous (now Rae-Ann).
A member of the Assumption Church in Geneva, she loved spending time with her family and cooking.
Survivors include her children, Iva Jean Newcomb of New Mexico, Donna Bockelman of Cortland, Enrique DeJesus of Puerto Rico and George "Ed" Jones of Geneva; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Johnston-Alvarado of Geneva.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio DeJesus in 1998; her parents; sister, Irene Armstrong; and two brothers, William and Robert Armstrong.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 21st, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, with Fr. Paul Tobin officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling Hours will be from 11 a.m. until time of Service, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
