J.P. Moore was born June 12, 1925,in Milford. A longtime Fort Worth resident and member of the Pentecostal faith, he was an ordained minister for many years. Mr. Moore was a Navy veteran of World War II and a a member of V.F.W. Post No. 10427 in Cedar Park Many remember him from his 31 years of employment at the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Charlotte Moore of Springtown; son, Joel Moore of Boyd; daughters, Betty Hooser of Willis, Paula McKenzie of Dallas and Marcie Brown of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
