Monroe Roosevelt Crouch, Jr., age 51 of Guston, died Monday, June 1, 1998 at his residence. Born on January 8, 1947 in Irvington, the son of the late Monroe Roosevelt Crouch, Sr., and Melvina Green. He was employed with Olin Corp in Brandenburg for 29 years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, and was preceded in death by a son, Terry.
Survivors are one daughter, Lynn Crouch, Brandenburg; one son, Perry Crouch, New York State; four sisters, Irma Springer and Lucy Johnson of Louisville, Margaret Greenlee and Shirley Lawrence of Irvington; one brother, William Harry Crouch, Ekron; two grandsons, Jordan Crouch of New York and Alexander Crouch of Brandenburg, and a special friend, Kay Bowman, of Louisville.
Funeral services were held Friday,June 5 at the chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Young and Arthur King officiating. Burial was in the Irvington Cemetery.
