MRS. ACKFELD OF FREEBURG, DIES DECEMBER 3, 1972
"Mrs. Teresa Ackfeld, 83, Freeburg, died Saturday at a St. Louis Hospital. She was born December 18, 1888, in Osage, County, the daughter of Nichols and Mary Tillman Patten. On May 2, 1912, at Freeburg, she was married to Henry Ackfeld. He died in July, 1924. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, and a member of the Married Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include: One son, Lawrence Ackfeld, St. Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Lamburth, St. Louis; two brothers, John Patten and Henry Patten, both of Freeburg; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, with Msgr. Bernard Timpe officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. today at the Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna."
