DANVILLE--Chester T. Crumbaker, 48, regional manager for Western Kentucky Gas Co., died here Saturday. He had worked for Western Kentucky Gas 30 years and also had been past president of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce and the Danville Country Club. He was a member of the Danville Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jo Barnett Crumbaker; a daughter, Mrs. Beckey Hunstad of Campbellsville; two sons, Tom Crumbaker of Louisville, and Bruce Crumbaker of Danville; his father, the Rev. W. T. Crumbaker of Madi-sonville; and two brothers, David Crumbaker of Dallas, Tex., and Jerry Crumbaker of Atlanta, Ga. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church here, with burial in Bellevue Cemetery here. The body is at the Stith Funeral Home here.

Chester Crumbaker Chester T Crumbaker, 48, formerly of Madisonville, died 9 p.m. Saturday in his home in Danville, Ky. He is the son of the Rev. W. T. Crumbaker, Madisonville. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Barnett Crumbaker; two sons, Tom Crumbaker, Louisville, Bruce Crumbaker, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Becky Hunstead, Campbellsville, Ky.; two brothers, Jerry Crumbaker, Atlanta, Ga., David Crumbaker, Houston, Tex. Funeral services will be today, 3 p.m. at the Lexington Ave. Baptist Church in Danville. Burial will be in a Danville Cemetery. The body was at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.

WKG Regional Manager Dies
Services Today For Crumbaker
Services were conducted today at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church for Chester T. Crumbaker, 48, of 136 E. Lexington Ave., regional manager for Western Kentucky Gas Co. Or. William Austin Roberts officiated with burial in Bellevue Cemetery. Crumbaker died suddenly Saturday night at his home after a short illness. He suffered from a heart condition. The Danville-Boyle County Rescue Squad was called but he was dead when the squad arrived at the residence. Squad members were Hillard Preston, Russell Preston and J.D. Wilson. Ptl. John Moore was also called. A native of Madisonville, Crumbaker had over 30 years of service with Western Kentucky Gas Co. He worked part-time for the company while attending Campbellsville College. He graduated from Madisonville High School and Campbellsville College and came to Danville in 1957 from Campbellsville. He was a former president of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce and the Danville Country Club where he was an avid golfer. He was a member of the local Rotary Club and the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, Jo Barnett Crumbaker; his father, the Rev. W.T. Crumbaker of Madison ville; one daughter, Mrs. Becky Huns tad of Campbells ville; two sons, Bruce Crumbaker of Danville and Tom Crumbaker of Louisville; two brothers, David Crumbaker of Dallas, Tex., and Jerry Crumbaker of Atlanta, Ga. ; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers for the services were the district managers in WKG's eastern region: Danny Collier of Danville, Norman Hughes of Harrodsburg; Ed Marrett of Lebanon, Roy Pearson of Campbellsville, Earl Fischer of Bowling Green, Robert Ward of Shelbyville, M.R. Anderson of Russellville, Walton Joiner of Franklin and Kenneth Quigley of Glasgow. Stith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
