Mrs. Tom Connelly Succumbs At Home After Long Illness
Mrs. Alba Reynolds Connelly, 54, wife of Thomas E. Connelly Jr., of 841 Hilltop road, Caldwell Manor, died at 12:40 o'clock Sun day afternoon at her home, after having been ill for the past two years.
Born March 3, 1909, at Flat Lick, Lincoln county, she attend ed Stanford High school, had lived in Danville about 34 years and was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist church.
Other survivors' in addition to her husband are two brothers. Marion Reynolds and Stuart Reynolds, both of Norwood, Ohio, and eight sisters, Mrs. Albert Dudderar, Lancaster; Mrs. W. G. Baker, Corbin; Mrs. Ida Brown, Newport; (Mrs, G. P. Baker , and Mrs. J. T , Conklin, both of Covington ; Mrs. A. J. Baker, Gary, Ind.; Mrs. Valvin Creek, Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. James Bingham, Gainesville, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon at Preston-Pruitt Ffneral Home here by the Rev. Tom C. Nix, pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church, and Dr. William Austin Roberts, pastor of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery in Danville. Pallbearers will be Frank Zeke) Dexter, Sam Dexter, Ed-Wrard Hoover, Cecil De Long, Cheser Mack and Fred Stone.
The body is a the funeral home.
