Mrs. Edna I. Hill Dies At 61 Years in Oakley Home
Mrs. Edna Irene Hill, 61, died at 12:30 a.m. yesterday at her home on Landis street in Oakley.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac W. Hill; a son Harold Barron of Oakland; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Estelle Brill of Eugene, Oregon; two brothers, Ernest Alwyn of Antioch and Wilbur W. Allen of Oakley; three sisters, Mrs. William W. Budding of Vallejo, Mrs. Maude Roberts of Ft. Yukon, Alaska, and Mrs. Nadine Baldwin of Alameda; and six step-children, William, Ronald, Earl, Mary, Jeanne and Margaret Hill of Antioch. Seventeen grandchildren, also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Higgins Funeral chapel with the Rev. Homer Bodley officiating. Interment will be in Community cemetery.
Note: The present day Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery in Antioch, CA was also known in 1951 as the Community Cemetery.
