Molly Arnold Dies At Age 93; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Mary Catherine "Molly" Arnold died at her home on RFD 4, Mt. Vernon at 4:00 pm yesterday. She was 93 years, six months and 27 days old.
Mrs. Arnold was born in Union county, Ky., Sept. 22, 1864, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Dial. On Nov. 22, 1885, she was married in Spring Garden to S. A. Arnold, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Rufus Arnold and Homer Arnold of this city, and Claude Arnold of Bonnie; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conduct at 1 pm tomorrow at the Pleasant View Missionary Baptist church, of which she was a charter member. Rev. Joe Sledge, Rev. March Harpole and Rev. Raymond Edmondson will officiate. Burial will bein Arnold cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home, where friends may call at any time.
