Mary K. "Kate" Ault, 77, of Hughesville, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at the Geisinger Medical Center.

Born May 5, 1930, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of Norman and Adeline Miller Billman. She and her husband, Paul L. Ault, celebrated 56 years of marriage on October 17, 2007.

Mary was employed at several area sewing factories and retired in 1986 from Glamorise after having worked there for 15 years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother of Lock Haven, are three sons, Paul M. (Patricia) Ault of Loyalsock, Carl L. (Janet) Ault of Montgomery and Martin L. (Susan) Ault of Muncy; three daughters, Kathryn C. (Paul) Robbins of Unityville, Anna M. Ault and Helen M. Walter both of Hughesville; two brothers, Edward N. (Hazel) Billman of Williamsport and Roy (Jo) Billman of Lock Haven; a sister, Peggy Heller of Mill Hall; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, a daughter, Barbara Ault and a son-in-law, Richard Walter.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. James Bechtel officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
