Mrs. Frances "Frannie" Balch, 90, of Lake Wales, Florida, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Lake Wales Medical Center, of natural causes.
She was born on April 25, 1921 in Rochester, New York and moved to Lake Wales in 1979 from Rochester. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saddlebag Woman's Club. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Wales.
Survivors include her son Barry J. Balch and his wife Marie of Rochester and Bruce Balch and his wife Nancy of Lake Wales, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Orlo Balch, a grandson David, and two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 19, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Bluett officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be made at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery.
