FuneralI services for Mrs. Agnes E. Abitz, 68, formerly of 119 E. Second St., died Sunday, Sept. 14, 1986, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She was born March 6, 1918, in Fond du Lac, a daughter to Harlowe and Lillian Weak Ritchie. Mrs. Abitz was a member of Church of Peace. She was employed with Everix Bakery for 20 years and prior to that farmed in the Lamartine area. - Survivors include seven sons, William, Donald, Arthur, Dennis and Randall, all of Fond du Lac; Robert of Lambertville, N.J., and Mark of Madison; three daughters. Mrs. Lee (Patricia) Smith of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Richard (Gloria) Struzynski of Cottage Grove and Mrs. James (Carol) Oechsner of Waupun; four sisters, Beatrice Stroup, Dorothy Eggers. Mrs. Lester (Marion) Abitz and Helen La Pine all of Fond du Lac; one brother, Robert Ritchie, also of Fond du Lac; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, two grandchildren and one brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Church of Peace. The Rev. Martin Koehler will officiate. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to the time of services at the church.
