A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Ollie Mae Butler Dills. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Pressley; two brothers, Leonard Butler and Roger Dale Butler; brothers-in-law, Shirley Pressley Jr. and Buddy Watson.
She is survived by her husband, James C. Bryson Jr.; two daughters, Michelle Constance and Amanda Bryson; two sons, Trevor Pressley and Jason James; three sisters, Dianne Pressley, Sandra Watson and Kaye Logan; one brother, Richard Dills.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Johnny Norris, Jackie Collins and Ralph Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Hamburg Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
