Dies Suddenly;
Funeral Sunday

W.T. Jenkins, prominent farmer,
died Friday morning at his home
on Route 1 Doerun. The 62 year
old man, who had made his home
in the same community for nearly
two decades, was stricken suddenly,
the end coming almost immediately.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Web-
ster county, where he was born
March 10, 1886. His membership
was in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church
and services for him will be held
there Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev.
A.W. Thompson will officiate.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia
Tucker Jenkins, member of a pioneer
Colquitt county family; three sons,
W.D. Jenkins, Atlanta; J.B. Jenkins,
Newnan; B.F. Jenkins, Warner Robins
Field; two daughters, Miss Doris
Jenkins, Quitman; Mrs. J.J. Trenton,
New Haven Conn.; two brothers, J.H.
Jenkins,Bonifay, Fla; F.M. Jenkins,
Dothan, Ala; three sisters, Mrs.
James M. Holloman, Montgomery:
Mrs. J.I. Tucker and Mrs. A. Goolsby,
Monltrie, and seven grandchildren.
