Our loving Solomone Tokomea Jay Mafua 28, passed away peacefully at home August 29, 2004. After a long battle with colon cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah October 1, 1975, eldest son of Samisoni Tokomea and Eileen N. Mafua. Solomone married his soul mate Shandra Rae Roske, Nov. 29, 1996 He is survived by his wife Shandy Mafua, parents, Tokomea and Eileen Mafua, brothers: Samisoni (Crystal), Siolimi (Jenni) and Jonathan Mafua. Nephews: Elone, Penisimani, and Gabriel Mafua. Preceded in death by grandparents, Solomone Mu'a and Taufa 'Ofahulu Mafua and Jay R. Nelson. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 203 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City, Utah. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to gather, reminiscence and celebrate Solomone Mafua's life following services at the Mafua Family's Home, 752 West Moon Circle, Farmington, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Zion's Bank care of Solomone Mafua's Cancer Fund. Directors, Garner Funeral Home.
