Carole Vivian Best, 60, of Knox, died Wednesday afternoon, March 14, 2012, at her home following an illness.
Born July 23, 1951, in Beaver Township, Clarion County, she was the daughter of the late Thelma Snyder.
She was a member of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church in Knox and loved attending church services and functions.
Carole enjoyed playing cards, spending time with friends and reading the Reader's Digest.
Survivors include her aunt, Christina Snyder of Shippenville; and her cousins, Sandra Hannold and her husband, Bob, of Shippenville and their son, Devin Hannold and wife, Maria, of Florida and Tammy Delorme and her husband, Thierry, of Ashtabula, Ohio and their daughter, Isabelle.
She is also survived by numerous other cousins and her very dear and special friends, Vickie Weaver, Nancy Magness and Miss Florence Crissman.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Ave., Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with lay clergy, Denny Weaver, officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Paul Union Cemetery in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
