Edith was born in Yakima Washington to Tom and Vera (Whitehead) Marshall on August 5, 1920. On August 6, 1939 she wed C Dale Bailey at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Yakima. She and Dale lived in Yakima until 1960 when they moved to Sunnyside. Edith worked at Pacific Power and Light Company and at Home Federal Savings and Loan. Edith was an excellent seamstress and a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.
