Obituary:
Jessie Boyd Bogle of McKenzie passed away Tuesday, March 16, at the Henry County General Hospital after a series of heart attacks. He was a retired farmer. He had served in World War I.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 17 at 2:30 at the Liberty All Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Brummitt Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ava Williams Bogle; two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Newbill of Sikeston, Missouri and Mrs. Zella Barlow of Trezevant; and one brother, John Bogle of Texas.
Pallbearers were John Mosley, C. H. Martin, H. B. Scarbrough, Albert Chandler, Dudley Tucker, and Robert Hall. Honorary pallbearers were the Carroll County Barracks.
