Ellabell - William H. "Dub" Wilson, Jr., 77, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at his residence.

The Screven County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Blitchton. He retired from American Cyanamid and was a U.S. Army Veteran having received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Badge. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors: wife, Idell Nease Wilson of Ellabell; two sons, Mikel Wilson of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Thomas Wilson of Rincon; one daughter, Sandra Kinnison of Rincon; one step-son, Charles Thompson III of Guyton; one step-daughter, Debra Stanley of Ellabell; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one brother, John A. Wilson of Fort Walton Beach, FL; two sisters, Mary Pearl Welch and Frances Shinall, both of Savannah; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel.

Burial: First Baptist Church of Ellabell Cemetery
