Gladys Ellis Anderson, 91 of Harrison, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006 at her home. The daughter of John K. and Laura Edith(King)Kramer, was born Dec. 12, 1914 at Harveyville, Kansas. She is the mother of three; Junior Thiry of Lancaster, PA, Harold Lee Thiry of Milwaukee, WI and Sue Ann Cullen of Edwardsville, KS. Gladys worked for the Board of Education of Kansas City at Wyandotte High School for 16 years. She worked for the Hereford Association in Kansas City for five years. After retiring, she traveled with the Motor Home Group for 10 years. Gladys is survived by her husband; a daughter and two sons, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Arrangements and cremation were handled by Coffman Funeral Home. Gladys's cremated remains were sent to Kansas City, for burial at a later date.
