s/o Francis Marion Davenport (12 Mar 1793-18 Jul 1868) and Elizabeth Estridge (11 Apr 1801-20 June 1841/42). They were married 11 Sep 1815. They lived in Greenville, S.C., and they are buried in the Daventon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Frank and Anna had 15 children, all of whom lived until adulthood.

Frank served in the South Carolina Legislature during the 1886 and 1887 sessions.
His grandfather was William Davenport, Revolutionary War veteran, memorial #124569670.
