Mrs. Hill, 93, Dies at Medora
Ms. Phoeba(sic) E.Hill, age ninety-three, a life-long resident of Medora and one of Jackson County's oldest residents, died at the home in Medora at 11:25 o'clock Monday morning. Death followed an illness of six years' duration.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon from the Medora United Brethren Church with the Rev. C. H. Ivy, pastor, in charge.
Burial was in the Wright Cemetery near Medora.
Mrs. Hill was born on April 17, 1850, at Medora, the daughter of Westley and Nancy Wright, both deceased. She was the last in a family of thirteen children.
She was married in 1876 at Medora to William G. Hill, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the United Brethren Church and enjoyed the acquaintance and esteem of a host of friends who mourn her death.
Nieces and nephews are the only surviving relatives.
