Mrs. Elapy Watson, widow of Hezekiah Watson, died at St. Elizabeth hospital at 8 a.m. Wednesday after a lingering illness with dropsy. She had been int he institution a week. Mrs. Watson was born in Ohio December 27, 1827,(stone is 1826) and had lived in this county for a number of years. She was a women of noble character, a kind and a devoted mother. She
leaves two sons. One son William lives in West Lafayette. The remains were prepared for burial at the Evans parlors and in the afternoon were taken to the family residence at 716 Dodge street, West Lafayette to await interment.
