He retired in 2002 from the maintenance department at Perdue Farms in Washington after working for 10 years, and prior worked at Emge Packing Co. for 26 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton, American Legion in Hazleton, and the Columbia Lodge F.A. & M 450 in Patoka.
He was past president and coach of the White River and Washington Little League in Hazleton and past Master of Gibson Lodge 420 F.A.M.
His parents and one sister, Veva Miller, are deceased.
