Irma C. Christensen, 83, of Kennard, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Funeral services were Monday, April 19, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Interment was in the Kennard Cemetery.
Irma C. Christensen was born Dec. 21, 1920, in Kennard to Albert and Molly Louise (Way) Nelson.
After the death of her first husband, Melvin Rosenbaum, she married Harlan Christensen. The couple owned and operated the Kennard Feed Store for more than 35 years.
Mrs. Christensen was an active member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Arp of Fremont; son, Bill Rosenbaum of Kimberling City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Larraine Schoettger of Columbia, Mo.; and sister-in-law, Enid Andersen of Blair.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Christensen, and two sisters, Madelyn Lallman and Marian Laaker.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
