Amie Stone, age 97, of Fayetteville died Monday May 7, 2012 in Fayetteville. She was born April 2, 1915 in Farmington, Arkansas to Amos and Luiza Stone. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She served as hostess at The Mountain Inn in the restaurant and at the Fayetteville Country Club then retiring from The Holiday Inn in 1979. After her retirement, she worked as a volunteer at the gift shop at Washington Regional Hospital for thirty seven years.
She is survived by three nieces, one nephew and many friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday May 10, 2012 at the pavilion in Farmington Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
