Ogden - Colleen Margie Parker, 84, passed away March 5, 2012 at Mckay-Dee Hospital. She was born March 24, 1927 in Ogden, the daughter of Lawrence Henry and Myrtle Cleda Jones Venable. She was a graduate of Ogden High School.

Colleen married Robert James Parker on September 9, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She liked all types of music and was a TV fan of science fiction and race car shows. She enjoyed visiting with the elderly in rest homes.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Jill Stokes; her son, John Robert Parker; four grandchildren, Kimberly Tadd, Lillie, Lyndie and Laynie Parker.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. A viewing will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the graveside services. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.
