Katherine H. Cook, age 39, a resident of Sandia Park, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at 3:09 p.m. Katherine is survived by her husband, Bryan E. Cook, son, Bryan C. J. Cook, daughter, Nicole A. Cook, all of Sandia Park, parents, Magdaleno and Priscilla Garcia of Albuquerque, sisters, Janet M. Gonzales and her husband, William Chris and Michele L. Garcia and her fiancé, Kris James, all of Albuquerque, grandparents, Helen Gonzales and Roger Gonzales, both of Albuquerque and nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. Kathy started the Girl Scouts, Troop 1202 in Sandia Park.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, April 15, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Child Catholic Mission in San Antonito, with Dorela Perea reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m at Holy Child Catholic Mission in San Antonito, with Father Tony Martinez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Antonito Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gonzales, Richard Baldwin, Ben Baldwin Jr., Kris James, David Gonzales and Michael Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Michele Garcia, Rosemary Garcia and Isabel Garcia. Friends may visit Holy Child Catholic Mission in San Antonito at 6:00 p.m. until the time of the Rosary.
