Alfred Ellison, 48 years old, Route 2 Noel, McDonald county, Missouri was killed instantly south of Joplin, Missouri. He was a construction worker and the accident occurred on Highway 71 as he was driving a Case tractor pulling a sweeper at highway construction and made a right turn in front of a dump truck. He sustained a crushed chest and internal injuries.
His wife, Rosalie of the home survived him.
His parents were Frank and Lettie Johnson Ellison.
