Mrs. Willie Burden Agan, 73, Woodrow Kay Road, Rockmart, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born on July 21, 1926 in Elberton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Nick Burden and the late Mrs. Pearl Clements Burden. She was employed with the Villa Rica Hospital for over 30 years as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Beulahland Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie James Agan; brother, Nick Burden, Jr.; sister, Sara Vaughn.
Survivors include: daughter, Harriett Haase of Beulah; sons, Jimmy Agan of Bowdon, John Agan of Beulah, and Robert Agan of Beulah; sister, Elree Dobbs of Loganville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1 from Beulahland Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Garner and Rev. J.T. Hollingshed officiating. Interment followed in the Beulahland Cemetery.
