Diane Lynn Bennett, age 59, went peacefully and confidently to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, after an arduous battle with cancer.
She was born October 11, 1952, the daughter of Willis and Norma (Hop) Klingenberg and graduated from Hamilton High School and Davenport College. After college she enjoyed careers first at General Electric in Holland, and for the past 26 years at Woodward FST, Zeeland (formally Fuel Systems Textron). Diane was an "always positive" classy lady, confident in her faith of her Lord and Savior even while suffering complications from the many surgeries, procedures and treatments that consumed most of life for the past nine months.

Diane loved her family and relished getting together to celebrate birthdays and traditional holidays and was also blessed to have many dear friends she had bonded with over many years. She also loved gardening and found peace taking care of her planting areas around her home.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church, 3617 Hillcrest St., Hudsonville. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Yntema Funeral Home, 25 1 South State St., Zeeland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Love, INC, Hudsonville.
