Ruberta Ticknor Foster, 97, died Feb. 24, 2012, in the Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care Center, Stuart. She was born in Green, NY, moving to Pittsford, NY, then Canandaigua, NY, spending winters in Naples and finally settling in Stuart.
She graduated from Elmira College, Elmira, NY. She was president of the New York State PTA, published its magazine and was active nationally. She was also involved in the National March of Dimes and her local churches.
