Dorothy L. Black, 92, wonderful housewife and mother, passed away on Thursday, March, 1, 2012. She and her husband Cuevas traveled over most of the United States including Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii. Dorothy was currently residing with Mary and Audice Wallace. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, T.P. and Avis Caudle; and one son, Ronnie Johnson; her previous husband, Steward Johnson; three grand-daughters; one brother, Col. Ted Caudle; and one sister, Jessie Jobe. She leaves behind three sons, Mark Johnson, James Ted Johnson, Bob Black; two sisters, Ota Bell Clifton and Jean Hapt; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you to all of the nurses and aides, with special thanks to Crystal Connell. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
