Myrta Edna Thomas Fenton was the daughter of Oscar Edwin Thomas (1849-1919) and his wife, Thursa Ruth Stoddard Worth (1854-1906). Both were from Maine -- Oscar was born and raised in Presque Isle and Thursa was from Washburn, Maine. They were married in Kansas City, Missouri, on 22 Oct. 1881.
Myrta's siblings were: Roy Elmer Thomas (1883-1890); Harry Edward Thomas (1889-1970); Katie Thomas (1893-1893); and Lucile Mildred Thomas (1895-1994). Lucile and Harry are also buried in the Bonner Springs Cemetery.
